The Foundations Of Deen Al Islam
Allah Taught Quran
56:1(Allah) Most Gracious!
2 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an.
Follow Best Meaning
39:18 Those who listen to the Word and follow the best (meaning) in it: those
are the ones whom Allah has guided and those are the ones endued with
understanding.
2:121 Those to whom We have sent the book study it as it should be studied; they
are the ones that believe therein; those who reject faith therein the loss is
their own.
Friends Of Allah
10:61 In whatever business thou mayest be and whatever portion thou mayest be
reciting from the Qur'an and whatever deed ye (mankind) may be doing We are
Witnesses thereof when ye are deeply engrossed therein. Nor is hidden from thy
Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in heaven. And not the
least and not the greatest of these things but are recorded in a clear Record.
62 Behold! verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear nor shall they
grieve;
63 Those who believe and (constantly) guard against evil
64 For them are Glad Tidings
There Is No Crookedness In Quran
18:1 Praise be to Allah Who hath sent to His Servant the Book and hath allowed
therein no Crookedness:
Rehearse The Book Of Allah
35:29 Those who rehearse the Book of Allah establish regular Prayer and spend
(in Charity) out of what We have provided for them secretly and openly hope for
a Commerce that will never fail:
30 For He will pay them their meed nay He will give them (even) more out of His
Bounty; for He is Oft-Forgiving Most Ready to appreciate (service).
31 That which We have revealed to thee of the Book is the Truth confirming what
was (revealed) before it: for Allah is assuredly with respect to his servants
well acquainted and fully-Observant.
32 Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our servants as We
have chosen: but there are among them some who wrong their own souls; some who
follow a middle course; and some who are by Allah's leave foremost in good
deeds; that is the highest Grace.
Let Men Without Knowledge Hear Word Of Allah
9:6 If one amongst the pagans ask thee for asylum grant it to him so that he may
hear the word of Allah and then escort him to where he can be secure: that is
because they are men without knowledge.
Understand The Quran
47:20 Those who believe say "Why is not a Surah sent down (for us)?" But when a
Surah of basic or categorical meaning is revealed and fighting is mentioned
therein thou wilt see those in whose hearts is a disease looking at thee with a
look of one in swoon at the approach of death: but more fitting for them
21 Were it to obey and say what is just and when a matter is resolved on it were
best for them if they were true to Allah.
22 Then is it to be expected of you if ye will do no mischief in the land and
break your ties of kith and kin?
23 Such are the men whom Allah has cursed for He has made them deaf and blinded
their sight.
24 Do they not then earnestly seek to understand the Qur'an or are their hearts
locked up by them?
Learn Humbleness
22:54 And that those on whom knowledge has been bestowed may learn that the (Qur'an)
is the Truth from thy Lord and that they may believe therein and their hearts
may be may be made humbly (open) to it: for verily Allah is the Guide of those
who believe to the Straight Way.
In Quran Is Mercy & Reminder
17:106 (It is) a Qur'an which We have divided (into parts from time to time), in
order that thou mightest recite it to men at intervals: We have revealed it by
stages.
17:45 When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those who
believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible
41:3 A Book, whereof the verses are explained in detail;- a Qur'an in Arabic,
for people who understand;
29:51 And is it not enough for them that We have sent down to thee the Book
which is rehearsed to them? Verily in it is Mercy and Reminder to those who
believe.
Quran Is Message For All
43:40 Canst thou then make the deaf to hear or give direction to the blind or to
such as (wander) in manifest error?
41 Even if We take thee away We shall be sure to exact retribution from them.
42 Or We shall show thee that (accomplished) which We have promised them: for
verily We shall prevail over them.
43 So hold thou fast to the Revelation sent down to thee: verily thou art on
Straight Way.
44 The (Qur'an) is indeed the Message for thee and for thy people; and soon
shall ye (all) be brought to account.
Character
Sahih Muslim Hadith 1623 Narrated by Sa'd ibn Hisham ibn
Amir
I went to the Hadrat Aisha (r.a.) after the death of the Messenger of Allah
(saws) and said: “Mother of the Faithful, tell me about the character of the
Messenger of Allah (saws).” She said: “Don't you read the Qur'an?” I said:
“Yes.” Upon this she said: “The character of the Messenger of Allah (saws) was
the Qur'an.”
Sunnah-Hadith
Book 40, Number 4587:Sunan Abu-Dawud,
Narrated Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'dikarib:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Beware! I have been given the Qur'an and
something like it, yet the time is coming when a man replete on his couch will
say: Keep to the Qur'an; what you find in it to be permissible treat as
permissible, and what you find in it to be prohibited treat as prohibited.
Beware! The domestic ass, beasts of prey with fangs, a find belonging to
confederate, unless its owner does not want it, are not permissible to you If
anyone comes to some people, they must entertain him, but if they do not, he has
a right to mulct them to an amount equivalent to his entertainment.
I have indeed been given the Qur'an and something similar to it besides it. Yet,
the time will come when a man leaning on his couch will say, "Follow the Qur'an
only; what you find in it as halal, take it as halal, and what you find in it as
haram, take it as haram." But what the Messenger of Allah has forbidden is like
what Allah has forbidden.
(Hadith from the collections of Abu Dawud and Darimi. Narrated by AlMiqdam bin
Ma'di Karib)
