With the name of Allah; the Beneficent, the Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. And Peace be upon His Prophets and Messengers.

Prophets & the Pure Nature

Abdullah Ibn Adam

And May Peace be upon those who are being killed unjustly and on those who are being tortured wrongly, in this 'Modern' 'Caring' 'Unified' World.

Assalamu 'alalikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

We see children around us and sometimes we can recall our own childhood. Many of us see/feel our own childhood as the 'precious' times of our lives. That certainly was the wonderful time of mine. It was the time without worries; time of love, care and gleeful feelings; time when we did not hurt anyone and thus no one wanted to hurt us; a time when there were no differences between BLACK & WHITE or American & African; a time when we did not have any GREED or any DOLLAR yet we had all that we needed (we were certainly content); a time when we could not even walk but we did see, heard and felt that which we cannot do now; a time when WE WERE IN OUR PUREST NATURE (Saleem Fitrah) of HUMAN BEING. I am sure almost everyone wants to go back to that time of our cradle.

But what has turned us to be like we are now? Selfish, arrogant, greedy, ungrateful etc... Why do we hurt others -- physically & orally? Why are we now following our low-desired? Why are we trying to be like the animals -- wild? Why are we DESTROYING our PURE NATURE, like we used to be in our childhood? There should be no wonder to why we are under so much stress and worries now!!!

Will we always be like this? Well, Allah, the Creator of everything, has created us in our PUREST NATURE. He knows all about us and He does care about us. He has sent down His Prophets and Messengers to guide us, take us away from the darkness and wilderness, to purify us from the low-worldly desires and bad habits so that we could get closer to our LORD, ArRahmaan (The Beneficent).

All the Prophets & Messengers were kept in the PURE NATURE and they were great model for their people. Those people who believe(d) in that what was sent to them from their LORD and do/did the GOOD DEEDS were and will always be safe from worries, Allah's anger & punishment.

The following Surah (chapter) is so small but yet it covers all that is mentioned above, and that which is not mentioned.

Al-Qur'an [at-Teen - 95:1-8] :-

By the fig and by the olive,
by the mount of Sinai
and by this city of peace (Makkah).
We have indeed created human in
the best stature;
then We
abase him to the lowest of the low
except those who believe and do good deeds - for they shall have a never ending reward.

So, what causes them to disbelieve you concerning the Day of Judgment?
Is not Allah the best of all judges?
(Notes: We were certainly in the best of our nature at birth. Our material thoughts, worldly desires, narrow-mindedness etc moved us AWAY from our PURE NATURE (until a human becomes among the worst creatures). Allah sent Prophets and Messengers to guide mankind and whoever BELIEVES and DOES GOOD DEEDS is going closer towards PURITY (where a human is considered among the best of the creatures - above Angels). And Allah knows best.)

A new born child naturally wants to suckle milk to remove his/her hunger - no human teaches a child to suckle milk; we call it the 'Nature' of the child. Similarly, every human being NATURALLY wants to search for the One Almighty God, who is better than all, who has all the good words (good names), who is the Supreme.

Every human being (perhaps every creature) knows that the God is perfect (the most Perfect), powerful (the Most Powerful), have treasures (the Richest of all) etc. On this search, a human sees another human being who is powerful, strong, rich etc he then considers him the God. Some people would see a person (Prophet or Saint) who has/had good/moral qualities and then they consider him/her their God. Some would see a person who performs Miracles and then they consider him their God. For example, Sayyidina 'Eisa (Jesus) (peace be upon him) was born without a father, he also performed miracles and he had the great qualities (qualities of the Prophets). Later on, people considered him their God, not thinking about the fact that Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) was also created without a father.

Al-Qur'an [al-e-Imran - 3:59]

In fact, the example of the birth of Eisa (Jesus) in the sight of Allah is like the example of Adam, whom He created out of dust, then said to him: "Be" and he was.

The God (Allah), who has created everything (including human), sent Prophets for the mankind to guide them towards Him, to tell mankind about Him (to recognise Him), to teach people the way to get closer to Him.

Al-Qur'an [al-A'raf - 7:157-158] :-

Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet (Muhammad) - whom they shall find described in the Torah and the Gospel.
Who enjoins them what is good and forbids what is evil; makes pure things Halal (lawful) for them and impure things Haram (unlawful); relieves them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that were around their necks . Therefore, those who believe in him, honor him, help him, and follow the Light which is sent down with him, will be the ones who will be successful in this life and the hereafter .
O Muhammad, say: "
O mankind! I am the Messenger of Allah towards all of you from He to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no deity but Him. He brings to life and causes to die. Therefore, believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet (Muhammad) who believes in Allah and His Word. Follow him so that you may be rightly guided. "

In the above ayah (7:157), it is stated that those who BELIEVE in the Prophet Muhammad (alaihi salato wassalam), HONOR him, HELP him and FOLLOW the Light which is sent down with him WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS LIFE and the HEREAFTER. And the next ayah states that the Message of the Prophet (alaihi salato wassalam) is "There is no deity but HIM (Allahu ta'ala)". Basically, every Messenger's call was "There is no God but the One God" & "Follow me".

Now we are getting close to the declaration which makes a person "Muslim - Obedient to the One God (Allah)". That is:

" There is no deity/God but the only One God (Allah)
And
Muhammad (may Allah's blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah. "

Muslims are DECLARING this (above) truth but unfortunately many are not PRACTICING on it. This statement does ask us that we FOLLOW the Messenger so that we could get CLOSER to the One God (Allah). The summary of the Message of the Prophet Muhammad ('alaihi salato wassalam) is already mentioned in above ayah (7:157-158). So why not follow the one who { Who enjoins them what is good and forbids what is evil; makes pure things Halal (lawful) for them and impure things Haram (unlawful); relieves them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that were around their necks } (7:157) -- so that we could become successful in this life and the hereafter.

By the way, it should also be crystal-clear that Prophet Muhammad (alaihi salato wassalam) is the MESSENGER of ALLAH & the LAST PROPHET (Seal of the Prophets).

Al-Qur'an [al-Ahzab - 33:40] :-

Muhammad is not the father of any of your men (he is not going to leave any male heirs). He is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets. Allah has the knowledge of all things.

We also know that the Messengers of Allah were sent with Clear Signs/Miracles (bayyinaat) and Scriptures (that had guidance). No one, after Prophet Muhammad (alaihi salaam), has come up with SCRIPTURES and CLEAR SIGNS to claim that he/she is the Messenger of Allah; (of course except for the liars). There is no room/chance for anyone to claim that he or she is a Prophet or Messenger of Allah.

Al-Qur'an [an-Nahl - 16:43-44] :-

The Messengers We sent before you
, O Muhammad, and to whom We revealed Our Message, were also human beings. You (O people of Mecca), may ask those who have the Reminder (The people of the Book), if you don't know this fact yourself.
We sent those
Messengers with clear signs and scriptures; and now We have sent down the reminder to you (O Muhammad), so that you may explain clearly to mankind as to what was sent to them so that they may think about it.

Unfortunately many of us think that RELIGION is separate/different from our daily lifestyle. But we also say that ISLAM is the WAY of LIFE, then why have we left it to the Mosques/Masaajid for rare prayers or whatever.... Why don't we implement Islam in our Government systems, Houses, Schools, Offices (businesses) etc... Muhammadur Rasool Allah (alaihi salato wassalam) has showed us how to live our lives as a Governor, Husband, Businessman, Teacher, ..... and as a normal human being ! Those who followed his Sunnah were successful in the worlds, and time is witness.

Interfering and playing around with the Nature calls towards disasters. From cloning, genetically-modified-food, brainwashing the people to imitate wrong Nature in humans, distracting the natural flow (like what the people of Lot, Sodom & Gomorrah, did) etc is really calling the wrath of the Creator. Don't we know that humans became apes and pigs because of their wickedness! They lost their PURE HUMAN NATURE!

Al-Qur'an [Ar-Rum - 5:60] :-

Ask them: "Should I tell you of those who will have even worse than this in retribution from Allah? They are those whom Allah has cursed; who have incurred His wrath; some of whom were turned into apes and pigs ; who worshipped Taghut (forces of Satan); these are worse in rank and far more astray from the Right Way."

If our hearts are already filled with junks (worldly low desires), can there be guidance in that heart? We do what our heart says even if that is going against the pure nature of the human being. Many times it were the poor people who got guidance, and many of the poor people have humble and quite clean heart than the majority of rich people. Obvious? It is not the matter of rich and poor; it is the matter of PURITY and FILTHY DESIRES.

Let me conclude the subject with a beautiful ayaah:

Al-Qur'an [Ar-Rum - 30:30] :-

Therefore, stand firm in your devotion to the upright faith - the nature made by Allah, the one on which mankind is created - and the laws of Nature ordained by Allah cannot be changed. That is the standard of true faith, but most among mankind do not know.

Al-Qur'an [as-Saffat - 37:180-182]

Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, He is free from what they ascribe to Him!

Peace be on the Messengers,

and praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.

May Allah help us follow His Prophet+Messenger, Sayyidina Muhammad ('alaihi salato wassalam), so we could become successful in this life and in the hereafter like Sahabah (companions) of the Prophet. Certainly the Prophet Muhammad ('alaihi salato wassalam) and all the other Prophets (peace be upon them) followed the upright-faith (Haneef Deen). We should also follow that same religion: the religion of the Prophets: Al Islaam.

This is the last Ummah and so we (Muslims) have to spread the Message that was given to us through Prophet Muhammad (alaihi salaato wassalam). Everyone should be aware of his/her Creator, ArRahmaan (The Beneficent). And every human should know how to preserve his/her nature in the pure form, like a new born baby's nature - the form which gives human superiority over Angels.

Al-Qur'an [Ar-Rum - 3:110] :-

Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah . If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.

Wa Astagfirullah.
