The voting carried out last Saturday at a conference organized by Israel's Agriculture Minister Yisrael Kats in the town of Hod Hasharon has again proven that extremists rule the roost in the ruling party of Israel.

At this conference, around 400 Likud party members voted by a large majority to "bomb Iran's nuclear reactor before it is too late". In the words of Likud member and Ra'anana Deputy Mayor Uzi Cohen, "We must act as (former Prime Minister Menachem) Begin did when he bombed Iraq's nuclear reactor". For the civilized world in general, and the Muslim Ummah in particular this is an alarming statement.

Having witnessed the colonial rampage in recent years in Iraq and Afghanistan, it stands to reason that the only practical solution for the Muslim Ummah in face of such growing challenges is to unite under the banner of Khilafah.
