In the name of Allah most gracious most merciful,
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatuallahi wa barakatuhu,
Migration And Pledge
Migrate In The Path Of Allah
2:18 Those who believed and those who suffered exile and
fought (and strove and struggled) in the path of Allah they have the
hope of the Mercy of Allah; and Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.
9:20 Those who believe and suffer exile and strive with
might and main in Allah's cause with their goods and their persons have
the highest rank in the sight of Allah: They are the people who will
achieve (salvation).
16:41 To those who leave their homes in the cause of
Allah after suffering oppression We will assuredly give a goodly home in
this world: but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater if
they only realize (this)!
16:110 But verily thy Lord to those who leave their
homes after trials and persecutions and who thereafter strive and fight
for the faith and patiently persevere thy Lord after all this is
Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.
22:58 Those who leave their homes in the cause of Allah
and are then slain or die on them will Allah bestow verily a goodly
Provision: truly Allah is He Who bestows the best Provision.
59 Verily He will admit them to a place with which they shall be well
pleased: for Allah is All-Knowing Most Forbearing.
59:8 (Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs those
who were expelled from their homes and their property while seeking
Grace from Allah and (His) Good pleasure and aiding Allah and His
Apostle: such are indeed the sincere ones
60:10 O ye who believe! when there come to you believing
women refugees examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their
Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers then send them not back
to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers nor
are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the
Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower). And there will be no
blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But
hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have
spent on their dowers and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have
spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command
of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you: and Allah is Full of
Knowledge and Wisdom.
Migration Is Obligatory Except
For Those Who Are Helpless
4:97 When angels take the souls of those who die in sin
against their souls they say: "In what (plight) were ye?" They reply:
"Weak and oppressed were we in the earth." They say: "Was not the earth
of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (from evil)?"
Such men will find their abode in Hell what an evil refuge!
98 Except those who are (really) weak and oppressed men women and
children who have no means in their power nor (a guide-post) to direct
their way.
99 For these there is hope that Allah will forgive: for Allah doth blot
out (sins) and forgive again and again.
100 He who forsakes his home in the cause of Allah finds in the earth
many a refuge wide and spacious: should he die as a refugee from home
for Allah and his Apostle his reward becomes due and sure with Allah:
and Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful.
Migration Will Continue Till
JudgementDay
Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad) Dawud :: Book 14 : Hadith 2473 Narrated Mu'awiyah:
I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: Migration will not
end until repentance ends, and repentance will not end until the sun
rises in the west.
Intentions In Migration
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 3.706 Narrated byUmar bin Al Khattab
The Prophet said, "The (reward of) deeds depend on intentions,
and every person will get the reward according to what he intends. So,
whoever migrated for Allah and His Apostle, then his migration will be
for Allah and His Apostle, and whoever migrated for worldly benefits or
for marrying a woman, then his migration will be for what he migrated
for." (See Hadith No. 1, Vol. 1)

Reward For Migration
Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 211 Narrated byJabir ibn Abdullah
Tufayl, son of Amr ad-Dawsi, came to the Apostle (peace be upon him) and
said: Do you need strong, fortified protection? The tribe of Daws had a
fort in the pre-Islamic days. The Apostle (peace be upon him) declined
this offer, since it (the privilege of protecting the Holy Prophet) had
already been reserved for the Ansar. When the Apostle (peace be upon
him) migrated to Medina, Tufayl, son of Amr, also migrated to that
place, and there also migrated with him a man of his tribe. But the
climate of Medina did not suit him, and he fell sick. He felt very
uneasy. So he took hold of an iron head of an arrow and cut his
finger-joints. The blood streamed forth from his hands until he died.
Tufayl, son of Amr, saw him in a dream. His health was good and he saw
him with his hands wrapped. He (Tufayl) said to him: What treatment did
your Allah accord to you? He replied: Allah granted me pardon for my
migration to the Apostle (peace be upon him): He (Tufayl) again said:
What is this that I see covering your hands? He replied: I was told (by
Allah): We should not set right anything of yours which you damaged
yourself. Tufayl narrated this (dream) to the Messenger of Allah (peace
be upon him). Upon this he prayed: O Allah! Grant pardon even to his
hands.
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 5.254 Narrated byAbu Burda Bin Abi Musa Al
Ashari
'Abdullah bin 'Umar said to me, "Do you know what my father said to your
father once?" I said, "No." He said, "My father said to your father, 'O
Abu Musa, will it please you that we will be rewarded for our conversion
to Islam with Allah's Apostle and our migration with him, and our Jihad
with him and all our good deeds which we did, with him, and that all the
deeds we did after his death will be disregarded whether good or bad?'
Your father (i.e. Abu Musa) said, 'No, by Allah, we took part in Jihad
after Allah's Apostle, prayed and did plenty of good deeds, and many
people have embraced Islam at our hands, and no doubt, we expect rewards
from Allah for these good deeds.' On that my father (i.e. 'Umar) said,
'As for myself, by Him in Whose Hand 'Umar's soul is, I wish that the
deeds done by us at the time of the Prophet remain rewardable while
whatsoever we did after the death of the Prophet be enough to save us
from Punishment in that the good deeds compensate for the bad ones.' "
On that I said (to Ibn 'Umar), "By Allah, your father was better than my
father!"

Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) Bukhari ::
Book 5 :: Volume 59 :: Hadith 602 Narrated 'Ata' bin Abi Rabah:
'Ubaid bin 'Umar and I visited 'Aisha, and he asked her about the
migration. She said, "There is no migration today. A believer used to
flee with his religion to Allah and His Prophet for fear that he might
be put to trial as regards his religion. Today Allah has rendered Islam
victorious; therefore a believing one can worship one's Lord wherever
one wishes. But there is Jihad (for Allah's Cause) and intentions." (See
Hadith 42, in the 4th Vol. for its Explanation)
Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi)
Bukhari :: Book 5 :: Volume 59 :: Hadith 598 Narrated Majashi:
I took my brother to the Prophet after the Conquest (of Mecca) and said,
"O Allah's Apostle! I have come to you with my brother so that you may
take a pledge of allegiance from him for migration." The Prophet said,
The people of migration (i.e. those who migrated to Medina before the
Conquest) enjoyed the privileges of migration (i.e. there is no need for
migration anymore)." I said to the Prophet, "For what will you take his
pledge of allegiance?" The Prophet said, "I will take his pledge of
allegiance for Islam, Belief, and for Jihad (i.e. fighting in Allah's
Cause)"
Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) Bukhari ::
Book 5 :: Volume 59 :: Hadith 600 Narrated Mujahid:
I said to Ibn 'Umar, "I want to migrate to Sham." He said, "There is no
migration, but Jihad (for Allah's Cause). Go and offer yourself for
Jihad, and if you find an opportunity for Jihad (stay there) otherwise,
come back." (In an other narration) Ibn 'Umar said, "There is no
migration today or after Allah's Apostle." (and completed his statement
as above.)
One-fifth of Booty to the Cause of Allah (Khumus) Bukhari :: Book 4 ::

intentions. And when you are called for Jihad, you should come out at
once" Allah's Apostle also said, on the day of the conquest of Mecca,
"Allah has made this town a sanctuary since the day He created the
Heavens and the Earth. So, it is a sanctuary by Allah's Decree till the
Day of Resurrection. Fighting in it was not legal for anyone before me,
and it was made legal for me only for an hour by daytime. So, it (i.e.
Mecca) is a sanctuary by Allah's Decree till the Day of Resurrection.
Its thorny bushes should not be cut, and its game should not be chased,
its fallen property (i.e. Luqata) should not be picked up except by one
who will announce it publicly; and its grass should not be uprooted," On
that Al-'Abbas said, "O Allah's Apostle! Except the Idhkhir, because it
is used by the goldsmiths and by the people for their houses." On that
the Prophet said, "Except the Idhkhir."

remain; and if you are called (by the Muslim ruler) for fighting, go
forth immediately.
Pledge Of Allegiance
Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad) Bukhari :: Book 4 :: Volume 52
:: Hadith 208 Narrated Anas:
On the day (of the battle) of the Trench, the Ansar were saying, "We are
those who have sworn allegiance to Muhammad for Jihad (for ever) as
long as we live." The Prophet replied to them, "O Allah! There is no
life except the life of the Hereafter. So honor the Ansar and emigrants
with Your Generosity."
And Narrated Mujashi: My brother and I came to the Prophet and I
requested him to take the pledge of allegiance from us for migration. He
said, "Migration has passed away with its people." I asked, "For what
will you take the pledge of allegiance from us then?" He said, "I will
take (the pledge) for Islam and Jihad."

Islam and Jihad."
Which migration is excellent?
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 46 Narrated byAmr ibn Abasah
I came to Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) and said to him: Allah's
Messenger, who are with you on this (sacred) mission? He said: Free man
and slave. I said: What is Islam? He said: Pleasant talk and serving of
food. I said: What is Iman? He said: Endurance and benevolence. I said:
Which Islam is excellent? He said: One who safeguards a Muslim against
(aggression) of his tongue, and hand. I said: Which faith is excellent?
He said: Amiable disposition. I said: Which prayer is excellent? He
said: Standing for a long time in humility (and devotion). I said: Which
migration is excellent? He said: The one by which you abandon that which
your Lord dislikes. I said: Which jihad (fighting in the way of Allah)
is excellent? He said: That in which one has one's steed wounded and his
blood is shed. I said: Which hour is most excellent? He said: The end of
the darkest part of the night.

Strive In The Path Of Allah
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 2480 Narrated byAbuUmamah
A man said: Apostle of Allah, allow tourism for me. The Prophet (peace
be upon him) said: The tourism of my people is striving in the path of
Allah, the Exalted.
A Section Of My Community Will Always Overcome Their Opponents
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 2478 Narrated byImran ibn Husayn
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A section of my community will
continue to fight for the right and overcome their opponents till the
last of them fights with the Antichrist.
9:72 Allah hath promised to believers men and women
gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein and beautiful mansions
in gardens of everlasting bliss. But the greatest bliss in the Good
Pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme felicity.
73 O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites and
be firm against them. Their abode is hell an evil refuge indeed.
74 They swear by Allah that they said nothing (evil) but indeed they
uttered blasphemy and they did it after accepting Islam; and they
meditated a plot which they were enable to carry out: this revenge of
theirs was (their) only return for the bounty with which Allah and His
apostle had enriched them! If they repent it will be best for them; but
if they turn back (to their evil ways) Allah will punish them with a
grievous penalty in this life and in the hereafter: they shall have none
on earth to protect or help them.
75 Amongst them are men who made a covenant with Allah that if He
bestowed on them of His bounty they would give (largely) in charity and
be truly amongst those who are righteous.
Allah Knows Best
