In The Name Of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatuallahi wa barakatuhu
Listen.....Listen......
7:204 When the Qur'an is read listen to it with attention and hold
your peace: that ye may receive Mercy.
205 And do thou (O reader!) bring thy Lord to remembrance in thy
(very) soul with humility and in reverence without loudness in words
in the mornings and evenings; and be not thou of those who are
unheedful.
39:17 Those who eschew evil and fall not into its worship and turn
to Allah (in repentance) for them is Good News: so announce the Good
News to My Servants
18 Those who listen to the Word and follow the best (meaning) in it:
those are the ones whom Allah has guided and those are the ones
endued with understanding.
Allah Listens
2:186 When my servants ask thee concerning Me I am indeed close (to
them); I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on
Me; let them also with a will listen to My call and believe in Me;
that they may walk in the right way.
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 1332 Narrated byAbuUmamah
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Allah does not listen
to a servant of His engaged in anything more excellent than the two
rak'ahs which he prays. Kindness is spread over the head of a
servant as long as he is engaged in prayer; and men do not draw near
to Allah with anything to be compared with what came forth from
Him," meaning the Qur'an.
Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it.
