Irony of our existence

A day after the abolition of Khilafah, Mohammad Ali Johar said: "It is difficult to anticipate the exact effects the abolition of Khilafah will have on the minds of the Muslims in India. I can safely affirm that it will prove a disaster both to Islam and to civilization.

The suppression of the time honoured institution which was, through out the Muslim world, regarded as a symbol of Islamic unity will cause the disintegration of Islam". The reality of today is a testimony to these concerns.

Muslims have lost their honour, their pride of being a great civilization, and are being oppressed in their own countries, Iraq and Afghanistan, and as well as in foreign lands. The absence of a Khilafah, has thrown the divided Ummah, into a whirlpool of never ending problems.

It is an irony of our existence today that the same Muslim rulers who talk about the revival of Muslims at OIC, serve the capitalist nations wholeheartedly in plundering the resources of the Muslim lands. It is only by reviving the Khilafah, and adopting the educational policies of Islam, that the educational institutions of the Muslim world can be truly reformed, and can once again become the beacon of light for the 21st century world.
