Khilafah.

الخلافة

The Caliphate- Al Khilafah

Its the governnance by one Islamic

state [following laws of Quran &

 Hadith] of which the Khalifah

 [caliph] is the head.

اشهد الا اله الا الله وحده لا شريك له و اشهد ان محمد عبده و رسوله

الخليفه

The Caliph -Al Khalifah is the

 successor (in a line of successors) to

Prophet Muhammad's صلى الله عليه وسلم 

position as the political, military &

 administrative leader of the

 Muslims.The prophetic role of 

Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم

 was strictly not included in this

 definition,as the Qur'an & Hadith

 clearly state that

Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم

 is the last of the prophets.

 Khilafah is a related Arabic word

 which, in the context of Islam, is

used to denote the government of

the Islamic state, of which the

 Khalifah is the head.The Khilafah is

 a fard  kifaya[collective duty
