Implement it at once

  By  Sharique Naeem

In our society today, many false claims, ruses and reasons are often used to discourage Muslims from working for the revival of the Islamic Caliphate. One such claim used quit often is that implementing Islam in entirety all at once is impossible and that Islam was implemented gradually during the time of the Prophet.

The people who advocate this idea seem to have forgotten that Islam is one complete and homogenized doctrine, which cannot be implemented partially. For instance, the implementation of Islamic rules of economy necessitates the implementation of the rules of the Zakah, Nafaqah, Al-Kharaj, and Al-Jiziyah which in turn means that the implementation of the Ibadat, the society system, the rules related to the People of the Book, the Islamic foreign policy, and rules related to the Caliph altogether.

Moreover, the claim that the Prophet implemented Islam gradually is simply false. The Prophet implemented Islam in entirety at all times. Whenever a rule was revealed to the Prophet, it was implemented immediately.

Today, since Islam is known in its complete form, we have no excuse but to implement it completely. In order to implement Islam, Muslims must have the independent authority to rule in a state; but once that is achieved, Islam has to be implemented comprehensively.

The call for gradual implementation is built on lack of awareness of the Islamic rules and it leads to the dilution of the demand to rule by what Allah (SWT) has revealed.
