Our fifth coup

The recent US ambassador’s statement that the US troops would be stationed in Kashmir for as long as they are “needed”, in contrast to the earlier promise of having a 90 days limit on NATO forces presence in Kashmir, makes one queasy.

This is the same excuse America has been giving since 2003 for its occupation of Iraq and before that in Afghanistan. A careful analysis of the US policy points to only one conclusion; the American forces are now advancing to occupy the strongest Muslim country, Pakistan, without even firing a single shot.

The strongest tool in the hands of the colonialists is the disunity of the Ummah, and the ineffectiveness of its rulers to speak in the defense of the Ummah. To thwart the imperialists designs of subjugating one Muslim nation after another, we need a revival of the Khilafah, which will ensure protection and defence through unity of the Ummah in times of distress.
