Recognising The Real Enemy

Enemies By All Means

In & Out But For Sure

Do Not Befriend Unbelievers Rather Than Believers
4:144 O ye who believe! take not for friends unbelievers rather than believers: do ye wish to offer Allah an open proof against yourselves?.
145 The hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the fire: no helper wilt thou find for them.
146 Except for those who repent mend (their life) hold fast to Allah and purify their religion as in Allah's sight: if so they will be (numbered) with the believers. And soon will Allah grant to the believers a reward of immense value.

Jews & Christians Will Never Be Satisfied
2:120 Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion. Say: "The guidance of Allah that is the (only) guidance." Wert thou to follow their desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee then wouldst thou find neither protector nor helper against Allah.

Dont Think You Shall Be Abandoned
9:7 How can there be a league before Allah and His apostle with the pagans except those with whom ye made a treaty near the sacred mosque? As long as these stand true to you stand ye true to them: For Allah doth love the righteous.
8 How (can there be such a league) seeing that if they get an advantage over you they respect not in you the ties either of kinship or of covenant? With (fair words from) their mouths they entice you but their hearts are averse from you; and most of them are rebellious and wicked.
9 The signs of Allah have they sold for a miserable price and (many) have they hindered from His way: evil indeed are the deeds they have done.
10 In a believer they respect not the ties either of kinship or of covenant! It is they who have transgressed all bounds.
11 But (even so) if they repent establish regular prayers and practice regular charity they are your brethren in faith: (thus) do We explain signs in detail for those who understand.
12 But if they violate their oaths after their covenant and taunt you for your faith fight ye the chiefs of unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained.
13 Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths plotted to expel the apostle and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay it is Allah whom ye should more justly fear if ye believe!
14 Fight them and Allah will punish them by your hands cover them with shame help you (to victory) over them heal the breasts of believers.
15 And still the indignation of their hearts. For Allah will turn (in mercy) To whom He will; and Allah is All-Knowing All-Wise.
16 Or think ye that ye Shall be abandoned as though Allah did not know those among you who strive with might and main and take none for friends and protectors except Allah His apostle and the (community of) believers? But Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do.

Unless You Protect Eachother There Will Be Mischief
8:72 Those who believed and adopted exile and fought for the faith with their property and their persons in the cause of Allah as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid these are (all) friends and protectors one of another. As to those who believed but came not into exile ye owe no duty of protection to them until they seek your aid in religion it is your duty to help them except against a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance: and (remember) Allah seeth all that ye do.
8:73 The unbelievers are protectors one of another: unless ye do this (protect each other) there would be tumult and oppression on earth and great mischief.


Jews & Christians Are Friends Of One Another
5:51 O ye who believe! take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
5:79 Nor did they (usually) forbid one another the iniquities which they committed: evil indeed were the deeds which they did.
80 Thou seest many of them turning in friendship to the unbelievers. Evil indeed are (the works) which their souls have sent forward before them (with the result) that Allah's wrath is on them and in torment will they abide.
81 If only they had believed in Allah in the Apostle and in what hath been revealed to him never would they have taken them for friends and protectors but most of them are rebellious wrong-doers.
82 Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say: "We are Christians:" because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world and they are not arrogant.
83 And when they listen to the revelation received by the Apostle thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears for they recognize the truth: they pray: "Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses.
 

Non-Muslims Called To Account By Slow Wastage
16:45 Do then those who devise evil (plots) feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them up or that the Wrath will not seize them from directions they little perceive?
46 Or that He may not call them to account in the midst of their goings to and fro without a chance of their frustrating Him?
47 Or that He may not call them to account by a process of slow wastage--for thy Lord is indeed full of kindness and mercy.

Prosperity Of Non-Muslims Is A Trial For Believers
43:33 And were it not that (all) men might become of one (evil) way of life We would provide for everyone that blasphemes against (Allah) Most Gracious silver roofs for their houses and (silver) stair-ways on which to go up.
34 And (silver) doors to their houses and thrones (of silver) on which they could recline
35 And also adornments of gold. But all this were nothing but conveniences of the present life: the Hereafter in the sight of thy Lord is for the Righteous.

Allah Reduces Control Of Land From Non-Muslims
21:44 Nay We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; see they not that we gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?

13:41 See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? (Where) Allah commands there is none to put back His command: and He is swift in calling to account.
42 Those before them did (also) devise plots; but in all things the master planning is Allah's. He knoweth the doings of every soul: and soon will the Unbelievers know who gets home in the End.

60:5 "Our Lord! Make us not a (test and) trial for the Unbelievers but forgive us our Lord! For Thou art the Exalted in Might the Wise."
