Overlooking Differences

Differences Amongst Muslims & Huge Room For Reconciliation

Do Not Split-up Religion & Rejoice

30:32 Those who split up their Religion and become (mere) Sects each party rejoicing in that which is with itself!
33 When trouble touches men they cry to their Lord turning back to Him in repentance: but when He gives them a taste of Mercy as from Himself behold some of them pay part-worship to other gods besides their Lord.
34 (As if) to show their ingratitude for the (favors) We have bestowed on them! Then enjoy (your brief day); but soon will ye know (your folly).

 Hold fast, All Together, By The Rope Which Allah Streches Out For You

3:103 And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah.s favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.

Avoid Disputations
3:!05 Be not like those who are divided amongst themselves and fall into disputations after receiving Clear Signs: For them is a dreadful penalty,-

4:88 Why should ye be divided into two parties about the Hypocrites? Allah hath upset them for their (evil) deeds. Would ye guide those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way? For those whom Allah hath thrown out of the Way, never shalt thou find the Way.
 

Avoid Selfish Envy
42:14 And they became divided only after Knowledge reached them,- through selfish envy as between themselves. Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord, (tending) to a Term appointed, the matter would have been settled between them: But truly those who have inherited the Book after them are in suspicious (disquieting) doubt concerning it.

Non-Muslims Are Divided In Hearts
59:14 They will not fight you (even) together, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls. Strong is their fighting (spirit) amongst themselves: thou wouldst think they were united, but their hearts are divided: that is because they are a people devoid of wisdom.
 

Assist & Honour Allah
48:1 Verily We have granted thee a manifest Victory:
2 That Allah may forgive thee thy faults of the past and those to follow; fulfil His favor to thee; and guide thee on the Straight Way;
3 And that Allah may help thee with powerful help.
4 It is He who sent down Tranquillity into the hearts of the Believers that they may Add Faith to their Faith; for to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom;
5 That He may admit the men and women who believe to Gardens beneath which rivers flow to dwell therein for aye and remove their ills from them; and that is in the sight of Allah the highest achievement (For man)
6 And that He may punish the Hypocrites men and women and the Polytheists men and women who imagine an evil opinion of Allah. On them is a round of Evil: the Wrath of Allah is on them: He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them: and evil is it for a destination.
7 For to Allah belong the Forces of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Exalted in Power Full of Wisdom.
8 We have truly sent thee as a witness as a bringer of Glad Tidings and as a Warner:
9 In order that ye (o men) may believe in Allah and His Apostle that ye may assist and honor Him and celebrate his praises morning and evening.
10 Verily those who plight their fealty to thee do no less than plight their fealty to Allah: the Hand of Allah is over their hands: Then anyone who violates His oath does so to the harm of his own soul and anyone who fulfills what he has covenanted with Allah Allah will soon grant him a great Reward.

Misfortune Happens Because Of Our Sins
42:30 Whatever misfortune happens to you is because of the things your hands have wrought and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness.
31 Nor can ye frustrate (aught) (fleeing) through the earth; nor have ye besides Allah anyone to protect or to help.

Easy Kindness
17:28 And even if thou hast to turn away from them in pursuit of the Mercy from thy Lord which thou dost expect yet speak to them a word of easy kindness.
 

Enjoining Right & Forbidding Wrong
3:104 Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong; they are the ones to attain felicity.

Doing Good Deeds
19:76 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance; and the things that endure. Good Deeds are best in the sight of thy Lord as rewards and best in respect of (their) eventual returns."

Do Not Belittle
Narrated by Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him),
the Messenger of ALLAAH (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), said, “Do not belittle even the smallest act of kindness, even if it were no more than meeting your brother with a smiling and cheerful face.”(Sahih Muslim)
