Crime of making countries

If someone was to suggest the division of Pakistan into smaller countries called Punjabistan, Sindhistan, Pakhtunistan and Balochistan, he would immediately be labeled, and rightly so, as a traitor and an enemy of the state by people from all walks of life.

No matter what our political leanings may be, as a citizen of this nation, we would never tolerate such opinions. Isn’t it ironic, then, that we are all silent at the division of the one Muslim Ummah into more that 50 countries, a tragedy that has only taken place because of there being no Khilafah? Martin Luther King Jr. once said: “A time comes when the silence is betrayal”. For the vast majority of the weak and divided citizens of the Ummah, this time has arrived.
