Al-Qaeda or CIA?

Ralph McGhee (former CIA analyst & author) in his work, "CIA; democracy's deadly deceits" has gone on record saying "Death squads have been created and used by the CIA around the world - particularly in the Third World - since the late 1940s, a fact ignored by the media".

Such statements give one an insight into who could be 'the hidden hands' involved in the sporadic bomb attacks in Iraq and in assassinations of renowned personalities, like Dr. Khawaja in Pakistan. These, as well as other such ghost-attacks make the headlines every other day are blamed upon unknown assailants. The truth might be a little scarier.

May I remind you also that an Amnesty International report (United States of America-Rights for All"-October 1998) has also categorically said that: "The US has supplied arms, security equipment and training to governments and armed groups that have committed torture, political killings and other human rights abuses in countries around the world". Given such murky conditions in international politics, it would be wiser on part of the Muslims of the world to start thinking in terms of getting politically united.
